About Cody Marie

Despite not having access to a garden at home, Cody demonstrates real enthusiasm and commitment to growing in school and has done for the past three years. Nothing is too much trouble and she will always give any job her best, even coordinating troops of pupils to ensure all the plants are well watered during the summer months.

Judges' comments

“A hard worker, and good leader, Cody has demonstrated a good relationship with fellow students, and works well to take charge in the school garden.”

"The other pupils in the school clearly think a lot of Cody and the hard work that she puts in. She's a great role model and a fantastically well resepcted member of the school."
