The RHS Big Soup Share

What is the Big Soup Share?

Come together with your group to grow your own vegetables and turn your harvested crops into a tasty soup. Use our online resources and event guides (in the green box) to get cooking with your group! We would love to see what you’re up to, so share your photos on social using #BigSoupShare.
Disclaimer: Our resources were written in 2020, please take care and observe the current UK Government’s guidelines in your area.

Why take part?

The Big Soup Share is the perfect chance to celebrate community connection and to support those in your community who need it the most.

  • Create or strengthen links with your local community
  • Connect with people who are isolating by arranging on online video call
  • Thank any volunteers you work with, or find new ones to help in the future
  • Promote your school garden to the rest of your school, group or community
  • Boost morale in your office or link your business to a local community group
  • Raise funds by asking for donations towards the soup or by selling plants, cakes etc.
  • Gain press coverage by sending information of your Soup Share to your local paper or radio station
  • Use your Big Soup Share to support your Level 5 application in the School Gardening Awards

You can use your Big Soup Share to achieve whatever goal you like but ultimately, we want you to have fun and support others.
