We are the RHS Campaign for School Gardening
Our mission is to give children and young people, from two to 18 years old*, opportunities to grow and connect with nature. We do this by supporting school staff, home educators and youth group leaders with training, resources and advice, so they can encourage young people to explore the outdoors and learn how to care for plants and our planet.
Why register to be part of the campaign?
We believe that nurturing a passion for plants and our natural world does wonders for children and young people.
It can improve their:
Physical and mental wellbeing
Understanding of the environment and sustainability
Confidence and self-esteem
Teamwork and communication skills
Literacy and numeracy skills
It also enriches the school curriculum from science and maths, to art and literacy.
