About St Gregory's Catholic Science College
This seven-strong, enthusiastic team of 13-15 year old pupils have worked together to transform school grounds, originally earmarked for a staff car park extension, into an eco-garden. For many of the school's pupils the garden serves as their main connection with nature, as well as doubling as an outdoor classroom, and now inspires lessons across the curriculum and campaigns to raise awareness of environmental issues, such as reducing plastic. Their latest project marked the 60th Anniversary of the school by creating a space which is available to local primary and nursery school pupils too. The students also maintain a large community flower bed at the entrance to the local park.
St Gregory's Catholic Science College is in Harrow, and maintained by Brent London Borough Council.
